8 Months

At 8 months:
~Weigh 21 pounds (According to our scale)
~You wear size 3 diapers. Except at night. You wear Size 4 Overnight protection. We got tired of changing the sheet in the middle of the night!
~ Wearing size 6-9  and 12 month clothing.
~Wearing size 2-3 shoes
~Sleeping. This has gotten ALOT better. You usually go to bed at 9 pm and wake up around 7 am.
~Bottle every 4 hours, drinking 6 oz.
~You are eating rice cereal with mixed fruits (5 oz) in the mornings, 4 oz of fruits and veggies in the afternoon and cereal, veggies and fruits (6 oz)  in the evenings. Your favorite is still sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. So far you only really dislike potatoes... Hopefully we can fix this because Mommy cooks ALOT of potatoes.
~ You have started eating a very small amount of table food. You have had spaghetti, rice casserole, french fries, and nutrigrain bar.
~Napping- You usually take an hour nap in the mornings and a two hour nap in the afternoon.
~You were sick with the stomach bug for 9... yes, NINE days! Through it all, you were a happy baby. Not yourself, but content.

~You are still in love with your puppy. You will roll and get his ball. Then squeak it and watch for him to come.

~You love paper, cords, bowls, whisks, and spoons.

~You still love music. When you are upset in the car, I put on Favorite Nursery rhymes and you will stop crying.

~You love TV. I think you would sit and watch it all day if I would let you. It does make it nice for cooking.

~You love to take things in and out of buckets, especially the sensory balls.

~You enjoy playing with Mommy's necklaces, particularly the lanyard I wear at work.

~Love kids and are trying to "play" with them.

~You are rolling EVERYWHERE. Your teachers call you Roly Poly and say they have never seen anything like it. :) I think you are getting interested in crawling because you are starting to put you legs underneath you. Now getting that belly off the ground might be difficult.

~You are wanting to pull up on things but aren't quite sure how to do it.

~Went to your first pumpkin patch.

Andrew, we love you dearly. We call you our Chunky Monkey. You are so sweet and easy going! We love getting your sweet hugs and that you get so excited to see us.  It is hard to remember life before you. You continue to bring so much joy into our lives! Much, much love sweet boy!
