Christmas Fun

We started our morning at church with a special breakfast celebrating Jesus birth.

Andrew made playdough trees with needs as ornaments.

James sang a duet in the Christmas program.

My very handsome boys! I  really living being a boy mom! God gave me just what I needed!

We took naps and the  the Hayes and Tyler came over for our Chrisas celebration.

Andrew and Ben *helped* me make a snowman. Ben ate all the red M&Ms so I had to use an orange one :-(

We did some crafting.

The boys did some silly playing.

We did present exchanging but you know that was chaos and I didn't get any pics. It was a fun evening had by all!

I convinced James to let me have a real tree this year for all the homemade ornaments and traveling ones.

Not so sure about a live tree.

Santa land

Keeping traditions alive

Me and my boys

Andrew LOVED the lights!!!

Ben loved being out of his car seat.. And mommy couldn't stop to put him back in. Glad one of them enjoyed it! ;-)

Gift of Christmas

We went to the Prestonwood choir performance tonight and it was wonderful as usual!!!

Ben went to child care. Sorry Benny. Maybe next year...

Andrew got a special date with momma and daddy.

During the performance ladies swing on scarves. Andrew leaned over to me and said I can do that! So... If I find him trying to hang off the  playground with sheets, I will know where he got the idea from...

A little silly time...

Thankful

I am thankful for my friend who is willing to watch Andrew while I am in Dallas with Ben. And she went above and beyond to make sure he had a great day!

Sweet friends

A little fishing

We met up with then and daddy showed Ben how to fish :-)

Traditions

Opening a Christmas book each night. I just reuse the same books from the year before... And maybe add a few new ones as a nice surprise. :)

Put up Andrews little tree. Each night we read a bible verse and hang an ornament that matches the verse on the tree

This year we are trying Truth in the Tinsel. Where we make an ornament for the Bible story. We have not had as much time to do this one but I have really like what we have done.

Jesus will bring light to the world.

Jesus is king.

Such a fun time of year!!!

Best

These boys have an amazing daddy! I don't know that many men who would give elephant rides like this, especially after a long day at work. He is the BEST to us! And we love him very much!
