A Very Blessed Year!!!

As this year wraps up, I can't help but reflect on what a year it has been! It was our first year as parents! We are truly blessed by our sweet chunky monkey! God has filled us with so much joy this year!

Shall we rewind and see all of God's blessings :-)

We spent January preparing for the arrival of Andrew. We couldn't wait for him to arrive.

We were blessed with many, many showers! We had everything we needed, except our sweet baby boy.

Finally February 10, he arrived.. three weeks early! Ha! He is perfect and our love for him has only grown over the past 10 months.

Four generations of the Tyler boys!

In April, we celebrated our 3rd anniversary! So thankful for my sweet, loving husband.  God created a better man for me than I could have ever imagined! Love you, Lord, for him!

In May, we celebrated Hannah's 3rd birthday. She is SUCH a sweetie and I LOVE being her aunt! Everyone knows how much I adore her!

In May, we also celebrated Ethan's FIRST birthday!!! (Where has the time gone?!?!) He is so full of life and always on the GO! Love this sweet, curious little boy. I pray you and Andrew are best of friends!

Maybe we partied  a little too hard!

In June, I officially became a stay at home mommy! I also became a preschool teacher! If you didn't know... I have the BEST job in the world! I love these kiddos!!!

This summer we made MANY MANY trips to Houston to see family! Papaw gave us all a scare, but so thankful for God's healing!

We played ALOT with cousins! Such sweet boys!

Celebrated Andrew's half birthday!

In August, we celebrated Ellie's First birthday!!! She is adorable and also loves is obsessed with her dog... so they can relate to one another ...

We did a little swimming! Look at that Buddha belly!

In September, James bought me a Mommy car. I LOVE it!

In October, we visited Ellie and her family again. It is SOO hard to believe Catherine and I have been friends for 11 years! So blessed to have her in my life. She is my lifeline throughout the day!

In September, I started volunteering in the church nursery on a monthly basis. Andrew had made several friends but this is his best bud, Coleman!

Or maybe I should say second best bud... because Baxter is his BEST BUD FOREVER!

In October, Andrew had fun at his first Halloween

Andrew has met sooo many milestones this year. He is definitely a flourishing 10 month old who is into everything. He doesn't stay still long.(As I type this, he has left the room and I hear him playing with the doggie door crawling through the doggie door!) So thankful for my curious explorer!

In December we celebrated Christmas all month long!

Even though there have definitely been challenges, this was by far the best year yet! God has done amazing things for our family and He has given us abundant blessings.  Looking forward to what God has in store for us in 2013!

Sour Puss

Or maybe not... Recently, we gave Andrew a lemon.

And he loved it!

Posing for the camera.

 Enjoying a tortilla.

Also, I forgot his water cup so he enjoyed drinking from the straw.  Little birdy!

Polar Express Day

Ready for Polar Express Day in jammies!

I surprised my kids with a train. James was so sweet to help me on his day off. He is such a great man!

The kids loved it!

Sweet girl with her baby! One day she will make a great mommy some day!

After Chapel, we made a gingerbread house.

Then we had a yummy lunch!

During nap time, we watched Polar Express.  We had Hot Chocolate and popcorn during intermission.

Andrew loved pushing the boxes around.

I have the BEST job EVER!

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

I wanted to make sure my students understood Christmas was Jesus's birthday, so we had a birthday party.

I pray that I planted seeds in each of these sweet kiddo's hearts.

Blowing the blowers

We iced our cupcakes.
And sang, Happy Birthday with candles and all!

List?

Hannah brought this to school this week. I asked her if it was her list. She said, "No, it's my Bible Study." Melt my heart, and I am sure many of yours. I think it is a testament of what a great job Wes and Shelly are doing teaching her! God bless this sweet, loving girl!
