Water Slide Time

So much fun!

Splash Kingdom

Andrew loves the water so we thought we would have a family day at Splash Kingdom. It is some of the best money we have ever spent! Andrew had a BLAST! 

Loving the waves in the wave pool. He would hear the siren and ask to go.

Fun slide time! He could get up this one himself so I could get  a picture.

By the end he was going down ALL the slides he was allowed to go down, even this green one. 

He also went down all of these by himself. I wish I could have taken more pictures but it takes both James and I to help him. Also, James was not keen on his phone being in the water. :-)

Church Time

I love being able to volunteer in Andrew's Classroom. Here are a few pics I captured this time. (I haven't been able to take pics in the past because he has clung to me while in there. This time he actually played :-) ) Love the crossed feet!

Fair Warning

So Andrew has a love infatuation to sweep. And he thinks everyone should have this love. All through out the day he brings me a broom and asks demands me (or whoever is held captive in the kitchen) to sweep with him. And you would think a couple of strokes would suffice... but no. If you set the broom down he will bring it back to you. Also, you would think I would have the world's cleanest kitchen since I for sure sweep multiple times a day. But NO! As soon as I get my pile put together and reach for the dust pan Andrew swiftly hits it with his broom and scatters the dust. You have been warned that you *may* be sweeping my floors. Make sure you "brush up" on the skills before heading over. ;-)

Gigi Visits

Gigi came to help pack up the house as much as we could. Of course we took time to play too! Gigi and Andrew playing with hats.

We went to the zoo. I was so thankful Andrew would let Gigi wrangle him.

We ran, ran, ran.

Looked for animals

Fed the birds

And visited the gift shop.

He wrangled a snake out of the deal.

What's been happening?

We celebrated James's THIRTIETH birthday!!! We hope he knows how special he is to us!

Shopping trips have become much more exhausting....

This looks like a sweet picture... however it became a battle of the wills. Andrew was NOT riding in the wagon and we had to get home some how. It was just Andrew, Baxter, and me and the boys were not cooperating. Andrew even managed to break the seatbelt during his fit throwing. Imagine me carrying Andrew who does not want to be carried, Baxter pulling to get home, and me dragging the wagon behind. But we survived!!!
