37 Weeks Updated

How far along? 37 Weeks!!! Full term! Woo Hoo! Thank you, Lord, for a healthy pregnancy!

Ben weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (about the size of a bunch of Swiss chard).

Heartbeat: Back in the 140s

Maternity clothes? Yep!

Sleep: I am just going to accept that sleep will be rough until this little guy makes his appearance.

Best Moment This Week:  Spending the week with my little man. We had a lot of Mommy and Andrew adventures. Trying to soak up as many memories with him before Ben arrives.

Movement: ALL day long!

Food Cravings: Banana Pudding

Gender: Boy... our little BLT!

Labor Signs: No contractions... He has dropped though. I thought he did earlier because my reflux had been better and I was able to clean up easier. When I was checked to day, he has definitely
dropped and getting closer to his arrival.  I am at 2 cm and stayed at 60% effaced. My blood pressure is up. 137/86 so she mentioned inducing early. She said we will revisit it next appointment on Thursday or if I have any problems this week.

Belly Button in or out? Very stretch and has lost most of its poking.

What I Miss: Reaching the kitchen sink... makes dishes even more difficult. We really need to take a picture... It is quite ridiculous looking! I have to turn sideways and even then I barely can reach the water and soap.

Boys will be Boys!

Ethan wearing Uncle James's goggles

The boys got in a "sand" fight while we were mowing.

Nothing a popcicle can't fix

Then we tried out Uncle Wes's go cart.

And rinsed the crazy dirty boys off. They loved it! Squeals of happiness!

Andrew has started LOVING playdough. He likes to make snakes. :-) But wont touch them once they come out.

He also loves practicing cutting with his "knife"

Pool Time

We were invited to a pool party at Mrs. Angela's house. Andrew LOVED the pool, especially jumping in. We made him practice his counting before he could jump!

Finished Projects

We have been working all spring on project, mostly in the backyard.

Reworking the flowerbeds. Andrew had to be RIGHT by daddy!

The finished products. We were only able to do half of the flowerbeds, but next spring we will finished the other side.

We had to have our sprinklers moved because of the new playground. Well, we got a big rain and it washed away all the dirt over the sprinkler line. So we had to cover with dirt and then sod.

We moved 60 bags of dirt and 70 pads of sod.

Well... this little guy ate popcicles and supervised.

The finished product. It is already growing and doing well!

James refinished this dresser I found at a consignment store. He did such a good job!

Surprise Showers

My student's parents surprised me with a diaper shower! We know have a FULL closet of diapers and wipes. These parents have such generous hearts!

Then, my work friends surprised me with a shower! This is one loved little boy already! So very blessed!
