Crazy Hair

Andrew must have slept really well because he woke up with crazy hair :-)

At least he was in a good mood!

Wordless Wednesday

Working on clapping

Daddy working out: Andrew Push Ups

Mama, do you always have to interrupt?

Someone thinks Baxter needs more food... or maybe he wants to try dog food again.

A Day of First

Well, Andrew recently had a DAY of first....

Every morning at school, I place him down with cars while I get everything ready for my kiddos. Well, I turned around to find this... Andrew had crawled (army style) across the room. I guess he really loves leaves. He did great just crunching them and never put them in his mouth. (At least that I noticed)

Then, I put him down in the kitchen while doing dishes and preparing dinner. I knew he had left the kitchen which is normal. I went to check on him and he was EATING dog food!!! Gross!

At dinner, he was eating straight broccoli. We were so proud of him and praising him. Then he started making grunting sounds like he needed to have a bowel movement. Well, we died laughing which only encouraged him to keep it up through dinner and all his berry eating. First time for him to purposely entertain us. He sure did think he was a comedian!

Lastly, James and I were sitting on the couch talking about Christmas gifts and looking at some things on line. We looked over and James asked me, "Did you sit Andrew up?" "No,"I replied. "I have been here with you looking at Christmas." So apparently he went from a laying position to a sitting all by himself... or he had help from his best four legged friend.

Movie Monday

Andrew was cranky because he had a cold so we put him in the bath tub with a popsicle. His two favorite things: food and a bath! He kept smacking his lips! He became a very happy boy! LOL

So proud of Hannah! Shelly told me she was able to do this, so I had to record it.  You will need to turn up the volume to hear her.

My Sweet Girl

I don't normally write about school... but I kinda have a special student who I think all of you would enjoy hearing about.

Hannah Kate is so well behaved. At school, I don't think I have ever had to repeat myself to her (except naps:-) ) She is often repeating me to other kids to help get them to do what they are supposed to do. She gets so excited about crafts that it excites me to find one that she will just LOVE! I have LOVED having her and have been so blessed to be her teacher!... and AUNT!

She is helping a friend swing! Such a kind and helpful heart!

So I was helping all the kids put on their jackets to go outside. It was the first time we actually needed them. She said to me that she could do it by herself. She usually is right and rarely does she need my help. She takes pride in being independent at school.

Well, I look over at her and this is what I found.... Made my heart melt. She said, "Look I did it!" I ran to my camera and took her sweet picture. :-)

A little girl asked her, "Hannah, why does your tongue have dots on it?" Hannah replied very matter of factly, "Because God made me that way!"

Love this little girl and pray that she ALWAYS remembers this and continues to love how God made her, her!

Camera Purge

Yes, Mama. I promise I am not eating the leaves.

Mama, I am just helping you rearrange the furniture. Would you like me to clean the floors for you? <insert sweet smile>

Just chillin'

Looking very fall! Ready for cooler temperatures!

Lovin' the puppy! Baxter runs and plays and then comes back to check on Andrew. :-)

AGHHH! I am going to get you!

Yes, I am entertaining myself while you make dinner.
Cheese!

Okay... so I can tear it apart but not put it in my mouth. Right???

Bath Buddies

On Saturday night, the kids got a bath after dinner. Hannah Kate joined them later on once I bribed her with Mermaid. But since she is getting older, I decided it would be best not to include the 3 babies in a bathtub pic. :-)

Ethan, please play with me.

Can you tell he is *scared* of the puppy?!?!
