Potato

I went to the doctor and James was supposed to pick up Andrew. But he got caught up with work, so A went with me. He was perfect. He sat in the chair and didn't say a peep while the doctor was there. (I had gotten an insect bite that had swelled up and needed an antibiotic.)

Andrew helps me with dinner. I put him on the counter with "special" toys and he watches me run about the kitchen. I was peeling potatoes and he insisted on having one. I thought he was going to pretend cook. I was wrong.  He tried it.

He spit it out, but he did LOVE them cooked and mashed. :-)

Playdate

For the summer, I am watching Abby on Wednesdays. It will help cover when I am not working at PDO. ;-)

We started off the morning with a walk. It is challenging getting them both ready for the ride.

Mr. Cool

We played with bubbles.

We got soaked in the water table.

We rode the Quad.

For nap, we went back to Abby's. After nap we worked on our fine motor skills.

And Andrew tried out the potty. Thankfully, Abby hasn't actually gone to the potty in there.

More play time outside!

First Boat Ride

Andrew had to prove that he could swab the deck clean.

Sea legs

Little man was too excited to take a nap before hand, so the lull of the boat put him to sleep.

He LOVED the water!!! He would sit on my legs and splash and kick.

Getting out... to get back in.

Snack time

Our first boat trip. Thanks Pawpaw for taking us! We had so much fun!

Crazy windblown hair

After boat time, we had a very very short ATV time.

Andrew was not too happy about being with Gigi

Mommy took him and he like it! STINKER!

Joy

My heart is full of joy. I am so blessed to have these two guys in my life. I am also so blessed that I get to stay at home with Andrew. I wasn't sure I could do it, but I LOVE watching him learning. I love that I get to see his eyes light up as he learns something new!

Here he found a "laptop" Gigi bought him from a consignment store.

Daddy teaching Andrew how to use the drill to put child locks on the cabinets.

Andrew practicing

Andrew put his sunglasses on after church.

He moved up classrooms at church. Now he get to bring home a Bible story craft. This is his first craft!

Calling someone...

Yes, that is right. You bring the Cheerios and I'll bring the milk.

We brought Daddy lunch.

I know this is a picture of a frog.... but it has a funny story that I want to record.  James found a tree frog on a chair. He brought it over to  show Andrew. But it jumped on his head and Andrew screamed. Then Baxter realized there was a frog and was trying to eat it. So the frog runs the opposite direction which is towards Andrew. Andrew begins to scream and cry then. I am trying to grab Baxter. James is trying to catch the frog. and Andrew is screaming bloody murder!!! Finally, the frog makes it to the fence and the chaos ends.

New Fun

To work on Andrew's fine motor skills I made him a container with a hole in it. Then he pushed the balls through it. We also practiced colors and counting.

He was so proud of himself!

At the 15 month check up, the only skill Andrew couldn't do was stack blocks. Honestly, I have always built the tower and he had so much fun knocking it down. SO I decided we should practice building and THEN knocking it down.

We used tupperware to make it new and exciting! :-)
