Dallas Weekend

We headed up to Dallas to visit Catherine, Jarod and Ellie. We had a fabulous time and are so thankful for good friends! Catherine and I have been friends for 12 years now. We have seen our families change a TON. Now we are chasing these two sweet kiddos.

We wrapped up our Saturday by going out to eat and then heading back to Tyler! What a fun day!

Naughty

Yes... Andrew has become very mischievous... He loves paper!!! I was changing his diaper and notice black and white on top of his mouth. I was concerned his mouth had a weird fungus or something so I called for James. Turns out he pulled  a sticker off  his toy and it was stuck to the top of his mouth. 

Also, he LOVES cords. He disconnected his swing. I am waiting to hear the CRASH one of these days...

Farmer Brown

Errr... Farmer Andrew.  Aren't these the cutest overalls ever?!? Aunt Shelly and Uncle Wes bought them for us when we found out we were having a BOY! :-) Chunk-a-Monk barely fits in these still.

Storytime With Daddy

Andrew loves books! This makes me so happy because I LOVE books. As a kid, I would ask my mom to read numerous books every night. Just one more! I would beg. I look forward to those days with Andrew.

I am already working on a collection of good books for us to enjoy together. Here are the paperbacks.

Wordless Wednesday

Busy Weekend

This weekend was a weekend of projects.

On Friday, James surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. It was a nice surprise. 

I spent my Friday watching my sweet baby boy and sewing. We have several people we know having babies and I have been busy making burp clothes and ties as a gift. I had to make my sweet boy a new tie onsie. Isn't he so cute?

I got asked to fill in for a Christmas Advent Ornament Exchange. I had a week to make 24 "cute" ornaments with a Wise Men Theme. Shelly came to the rescue and helped me! So on Saturday I ran over to her house to work on the project. I came home to this... now who spoils this boy?!?

He is getting so big! But this picture reminded me of him being a newborn.

We also made Pumpkin cupcakes for Sunday night's caregroup and pumpkin bread for Andrew's teachers.

On Sunday night, we went to care group. Andrew made himself right at home exploring.

It was a great weekend!
