Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Has 6 months really gone by??? Each day you are learning so much! Your little personality is starting to show. You definitely let us know when you don't like something and laugh when you do! Your daddy and I love you SOO much! Parenting you is already so much fun! 

 

At 6 months:

~You wear size 3 diapers.

~ Wearing size 6-9 month clothing.

~Wearing size 2 shoes

~Sleeping from 9 pm - 7 am usually

~Eating every 4 hours, drinking 6 oz.
~You began eating solids. You are eating rice cereal with mixed fruits in the mornings and veggies and fruits in the evenings. You have tried: green beans, peas, carrots, plums, apples, apples and plums, squash, sweet potatoes and green beans, peaches, bananas, avocado,  bananas and avocado. Your favorite is sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon.

~Napping- This has gotten ALOT better! You usually take an hour nap in the mornings and a two hour nap in the afternoon. 

~Sleeping in your crib

 ~You LOVE music. If you are upset, the first thing we do is sing Jesus Loves Me.

~Spent your first night without us at Gigi's 

You love Baxter and reach for him constantly. Luckily for him, you aren't the quickest at grabbing for fur.

Went to the lake for the first time.

1st Solids- You didn't like them at first. But once we got you started, you figured out you LOVED them!!!

You had your first MumMum (rice cake)

You are learning to play with your toys.This is your favorite right now.

 Rolling EVERYWHERE!!! Our little RoliPoli  I leave you at one end of the living room and before we know it you are on the opposite side!

On Tuesday, I babysat Ethan. We had fun! :-)

Happy Birthday, James!

This weekend we made a trip to Houston for a friend's wedding. We also celebrated James's birthday! 

When we arrived, we headed to the park.

On Friday morning, we relaxed by the pool. Andrew has started loving water, so we had a good time!

 Someone is always getting the leftovers

 It was an unique weekend because Andrew started running fever Friday afternoon. He wasn't his normal happy go-lucky self. He was a good sport about the wedding. 

On Saturday, we took Andrew to a pediatrician. They ran a blood test and it was a virus. Nothing to be done but Tylenol and TLC. We left Andrew in Gigi's arms and headed to see The Lion King. It was awesome! Definitely my favorite. The costumes were unbelieveable! 

On Sunday we went to church with Nana and Grandpa. Afterwards, we went out to lunch. Nana gave Andrew a spoon to entertain himself. He loved it!!! Hot and Sour soup, anyone?

Mission: Surprise Daddy...

A SUCCESS! I don't know why but I LOVE to celebrate birthdays. Some say it is because I had ponies at my party... I love to surprise James for his birthday but I am AWFUL at it. He is so observant and notices the minute details. Last Monday, Andrew and I surprised him with lunch for his friends and him at work. Even a birthday cake! (Which I forgot to take a picture of!) I love this man and I love celebrating him!
