Happy Birthday, Hannah and Marley!

Andrew went to his first kid birthday party last weekend! We had a lot of fun! Shelly and Christie did such a great job. Shelly made super fun buckets for the kids to play with in the sand!

 Andrew is not quite sure what to think of all this activity.

 We got Hannah a HUGE box of crafts. I have never seen a little girl LOVE crafts like her! We got Marley a Pottery Cafe gift card so she can go and make something :-)

Special Visitor

Last week Ethan was sick, so Hannah came to play with us. We got a new basketball goal from a garage sale. Miss Hannah tried it out.

She at pot roast... or as we told her, "Special Chicken". She is watching the basketball so Baxter didn't get it... but after she went home he decided to chew it. He doesn't usually destroy things, but he did this ball. :-(

How many people and animals can fit on a couch?!? We read Dora Goes to the Beach and Chocolatina, which was a little old for her. She thought the little girl put chocolate all over herself... but the little girl loved chocolate so much that she turned into chocolate. Also, a little boy tried to eat Chocolatina and Hannah said, "We don't bite people." This little girl cracks me up!

3 months

Andrew,

You are our Buddy Boy! We are so thankful God gave us you. You are such a bundle of joy!
 This month Mommy went back to work. Aunt Shelly and Gigi are taking care of you. Mommy misses you so much and look forward to staying at home with you all the time.

At 3 months you are:

~13.5 pounds (We lovingly call you our Chunky Monkey)

~23.5 inches short

~Drinking 5 oz bottles every 2-3 hours

~Sleep from 10-7 every night (You are a Champion sleeper!!! Something we are very,very happy about!)

~Wearing size diapers. You would be in 2, but we bought too many 1s

~ Wearing size 3-6 month clothes

~You are not lifting your head up still or even attempting to. You have one month to make progress or you will be having therapy. :-) We are praying and giving you lots and lots of tummy time which you don't like.

New Tricks

Recovering

On Saturday, Daddy took us out for dinner at BJ's. He even treated us to yogurt!

 We also went shopping at the mall. Andrew got these cute socks and shoes.

 On Tuesday, we went to celebrate Hannah Kate's birthday. She got several fun toys!

Andrew is holding up his head better these days. We still don't like tummy time and will either scream or fall asleep. I can't believe he is almost 3 months.

 So happy Gigi is back! That smile melts this mama's heart.

Booo! Back to work

On Monday I left Andrew for all day for the first time. He is in very good hands with Aunt Shelly and Gigi watching him.Even though it is hard to leave him, I am so blessed to have them watching him! Plus, I know it is only temporary!!! 22 days til I am a stay at home mommy! Can't wait! In the meantime Gigi sends me updates and videos to brighten my day!
