Houston Shower

We are so blessed to have another shower already. Andrew's room is full and all we need is him! (But not yet ;-) )  It was so good to see so many people we haven't seen in a while! My mom did such a good job with the decorations and everyone was entertained by her games. Thank you everyone for loving Andrew! We are so truly blessed!

Shower of Blessings

This is a very late blog... but in October Shelly and Wes hosted a family shower for us! It was perfect! She did such a good job with every little detail! James and I were truly blessed with so many baby gifts. We are truly overwhelmed with all the love. We are SO excited to meet this little boy. Andrew is already so loved.

Pumpkin Carving

A couple of Sundays ago, James and I hosted pumpkin carving for our class.  I should have taken picture of the yummy food! Here is James's excellent pumpkin... I took out the guts; he did the carving. :-)

Andrew's Nursery

One of my co-workers gave me a bag of leftover diapers. James and I were sorting through them. This is what happens when you won't stay out of the diapers... you get the diaper of shame.

We have been working on decorating Andrew's room. Here is the latest! :-)

Andrew is GROWING!!!

Maybe... a little too well! James and I went to see the doctor today. He is about the length of a banana. He is measuring about a week early. He is 13 ounces (average baby at 20 weeks is 10 ounces). His head size is large, in the 92nd percentile. His arms are also longer like his daddy. (76th percentile).  He is laying sideways, with his head on my right side.

This weekend I began feeling Andrew; it had been feeling like little bubble popping. I have had a difficult time feeling him because my placenta is on the front. He doesn't like me to sleep on my right side; he got up into my ribs until I can't take the pain and roll over.  Maybe sleeping on your head isn't any fun.

We also bought the bedding.  WooHoo! I am so excited and can't wait to get it!

Ethan's Dedication

We were so excited that we were able to attend Ethan's dedication. We were sad we had to miss Hannah's and we know how important these types of moments are. He was definitely the cutest baby up there! We didn't take very many pictures but below are the 2 we did take. After the church service, we headed to Wes and Shelly's for pizza and extremely yummy cake!

Boy! Are we blessed!

We are SOOO excited that we are having  a BOY!!!! We are looking forward to meeting Andrew James in February.  Two weekends ago we headed to Houston to share the news.

We spent the week preparing our surprise. We made chocolate chip cookies with cake balls inside.

No one knew we were finding out... except Wes and Shelly. So we began our surprising with them.

We met Wes, Shelly, Hannah, and Ethan at  Jalapeno Tree with two balloons. They had to pop the balloon to find out the answer... They guessed right!
IT'S A BOY!!!

Hannah just had to ride the firetruck.... the first children get to do everything! :-)

Gigi just knew it was a girl. Let's just say this was the most disappointing cookie of her life.

We went on a trip around Houston. We saw several of our friends and of course went shopping. For some reason we didn't take any pics with the other friends besides Kim. Maybe one day I will get my brain back.

Kim and I at yummy PeiWei!

On Sunday, we headed to church with James's family. We went out to lunch afterwards where we told them. We also met Jay, Rachel's boyfriend.
Then we headed to Granny and Papaw's. I have to say, they gave us the best reaction!!! We also told Glen, Deanna, and Emily, but once again... no pic!

We had a busy but FABULOUS weekend!!!
