Andrew's Nursery

One of my co-workers gave me a bag of leftover diapers. James and I were sorting through them. This is what happens when you won't stay out of the diapers... you get the diaper of shame.

We have been working on decorating Andrew's room. Here is the latest! :-)

Andrew is GROWING!!!

Maybe... a little too well! James and I went to see the doctor today. He is about the length of a banana. He is measuring about a week early. He is 13 ounces (average baby at 20 weeks is 10 ounces). His head size is large, in the 92nd percentile. His arms are also longer like his daddy. (76th percentile).  He is laying sideways, with his head on my right side.

This weekend I began feeling Andrew; it had been feeling like little bubble popping. I have had a difficult time feeling him because my placenta is on the front. He doesn't like me to sleep on my right side; he got up into my ribs until I can't take the pain and roll over.  Maybe sleeping on your head isn't any fun.

We also bought the bedding.  WooHoo! I am so excited and can't wait to get it!

Ethan's Dedication

We were so excited that we were able to attend Ethan's dedication. We were sad we had to miss Hannah's and we know how important these types of moments are. He was definitely the cutest baby up there! We didn't take very many pictures but below are the 2 we did take. After the church service, we headed to Wes and Shelly's for pizza and extremely yummy cake!

Boy! Are we blessed!

We are SOOO excited that we are having  a BOY!!!! We are looking forward to meeting Andrew James in February.  Two weekends ago we headed to Houston to share the news.

We spent the week preparing our surprise. We made chocolate chip cookies with cake balls inside.

No one knew we were finding out... except Wes and Shelly. So we began our surprising with them.

We met Wes, Shelly, Hannah, and Ethan at  Jalapeno Tree with two balloons. They had to pop the balloon to find out the answer... They guessed right!
IT'S A BOY!!!

Hannah just had to ride the firetruck.... the first children get to do everything! :-)

Gigi just knew it was a girl. Let's just say this was the most disappointing cookie of her life.

We went on a trip around Houston. We saw several of our friends and of course went shopping. For some reason we didn't take any pics with the other friends besides Kim. Maybe one day I will get my brain back.

Kim and I at yummy PeiWei!

On Sunday, we headed to church with James's family. We went out to lunch afterwards where we told them. We also met Jay, Rachel's boyfriend.
Then we headed to Granny and Papaw's. I have to say, they gave us the best reaction!!! We also told Glen, Deanna, and Emily, but once again... no pic!

We had a busy but FABULOUS weekend!!!

Fun Weekend

James and I had a fabulous long weekend. I am now in my fifteenth week. Our baby is 4 inches long and about 2.5 ounce. About the size of an apple.  It seems like over the past week or so my stomach has grown and I know longer fit in my clothes. So my sweet husband took me shopping.

Then we headed to Gymboree to look... big mistake! They were having a good sale. All sale items were an additional 30% off. You all know how much we LOVE good deals and SHOPPING! So we ended up with outfits for both genders. As my mom taught me... you can always return.
Dont these little shoes look like they belong on a little James!!!
We ended our day making a flower arrangement. Or should I say my very talented husband made an arrangement and I assisted.

What a FABULOUS weekend!

Baby make Three

We are so excited to be expecting our first baby! It is hard to believe I have made it through the first trimester and beginning the second! During my first trimester, my main symptoms of pregnancy were tiredness and aversions to meat. Thankfully, some of that is subsiding. Our baby is 3 1/2 inches long, about the size of a lemon, weight 1.5 ounces. So small, but he/she has grown SOOO much! On Oct. 10 we get to find out what we are having... We CANT WAIT!
The 5th pregnancy test... just to be sure!

James was super sweet and brought me home flowers to celebrate. Pink... could he be hoping for a girl?

The crib! Now if I can get bedding...

Our sweet baby at 8 weeks

A close up

At eight weeks, Baxter insisted being in my arms.  He is trying to soak up all his time that is left..
At 14 weeks... starting to show a little...

Summer with Hannah

Shelly has been so sweet to let me take Hannah places. :-) We have been to the splash park, movies, and Barnes and Noble. It has been so much fun for me! Hopefully, Hannah has had just as much fun. Well, today I took Hannah to Piddlin Pottery. She painted a cupcake... of course... PINK!
Thanks Shelly for letting me steal her!
