Easter Celebration

After working all weekend on the yard, my parents, James and I headed to church. What a great service! We are so blessed by Pastor Dykes. Then we came home and had a wonderful meal with Wes and Shelly. We gave Hannah an Easter basket filled with goodies. :-) Who would have thought bugs and princesses would be in the same basket?!?!?!

 

Then we hid Easter eggs for Hannah to hunt!

Destruction of the Yard

We have spent the last weekend and evenings tearing out landscaping. This weekend my mom and stepdad came to help us. They were more than help.... They helped us TREMENDOUSLY!!! We got it almost done... but you will have to wait to see the results in public. :-)

So I started to take pictures... and then my camera died.... We had  a great time, and it was wonderful helping prepare Wes and Shelly for the arrival of Ethan! We can't wait to meet him. :-)

Happy 2 Years.... a little late

James and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Jefferson. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the views. We stayed at a bed and breakfast recommended by Uncle Lew and Aunt Val. We didn't take many pics... but here is a couple.

Spring Cleaning

It has been forever since I blogged but I have been awful at taking pics... and it seems we are never doing anything THAT interesting! :-) LOL Here is the recent update. (This is for you, Granny)

I have recently taken up making bows. These are some of the bows I made for a baby shower. (Of course, I made a couple for Hannah as well. :-))

We celebrated Shelly and Wes's birthday. Hannah helped with the cake.

When we were pregnant, James was so thoughtful and surprised me with roses. A very nice treat! Even though we are no longer pregnant, I have learned a lot about gratitude and thankfulness. We know that God is faithful, and one day, in his time,  we hope to be Godly parents.

We also celebrated Melisa's birthday! What a blessing she has been in my life!

James's coworker is having a girl. These are the matching bows I made for the dress we bought her.

The beautiful lily. One day we hope to plant bulbs with our kids to help teach them about plants. Next spring we will just steal Hannah and Ethan to practice :-)
