~You have started batting toys.
~You can lift your head side to side and occasionally like a turtle.
~You are now preferring your back instead of your tummy.
~ You sleep in your rock N Sleeper in our room.
~ You rarely cry unless you need to eat or sleep. You are very easy going!
~ You are Thumper :-) While you eat, you love to "thump" you left little leg

We sure love you, little guy!

2 1/2 Years Old

Andrew recently turned 2 1/2 years old! He is growing up SO much just since turning 2! His vocabulary has EXPLODED. We still have trouble always understanding him, but he sure does love talking. He will talk your ear off! He recently has begun singing along with songs. He is an all-around kid and is happy doing anything

really. He has a wide range of interests from gymnastics to painting to music to tractors to tools. I really wish I could freeze him at the age he is! I love this age. Yes, he has his moments of STUBBORNNESS, but he really makes me laugh. He has a very sweet and polite heart. He loves to help. For the most part, he is a pleaser and loves words of encouragement.

Andrew's Favorites:
Color: Orange
Toy: Tractors, Trains, Planes, Playdough
Activity: Swimming and Riding his tractor
TV Show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Movie: Rio
Store: Target (to get popcorn and an Icee)
Song: John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt
Some other favs: You, You, You (Chapel song), Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Ring around the Rosie, Row Row Row Your Boat, Farmer in the Dell
Food: Anything sweet! :-) For an actual meal: Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed potatoes, and peas

Things he says that make us laugh:

~ He loves to yell for "James" or "Babe" especially if I am looking for him
~ I fixin' it.
~ I watch Daddy sing. Daddy choir.
~ NO Daddy drive. (He does not like me to drive!)
~ I make milk for Ben.
~ Need help?
~ Tortuee (tortilla)
~ Baxter naughty. Baxter farking dog. (has a little trouble with 'B's)
~ I tell Daddy! I tell Baxter! (whenever he does something good)
~ I know, Ben, I know.
~ I freezing!
~ I need....
~ When I tell him no for a toy, he tells me I ask for Christmas

First Day of PDO

Well... we are back to school! Someone was upset with Mommy because I wouldn't let him wear his Mickey shirt on the first day. We survived the week! Actually, this was one of the best first days! I had a great time and have some really sweet students. Ben is staying with Aunt Shelly for the month of September. So thankful for her willingness to keep him!

Andrew's teacher is Mrs. Elizabeth (who Ethan had last year). He LOVES her. She taught Chapel this summer while I was out. He walked straight into her room without any tears.

Have I mentioned this boy is in love with his orange plane?

Cousin Day!

I watched the kids recently one day. After taking 2 hours to get ready, we headed to Rose Heights. Hannah kept asking how much LONGER? Ha! It is hard to get 4 kids ready!

All loaded up

Pretty cowgirl!

Meet Ethan Flintstone

All Aboard!

Giddy Up!

 Sweet kiddos!

Ben didn't want to miss out on the fun! He was WIDE awake during all the fun!

Love this little boy! (Even if he is not a good sleeper yet. Excuse the bags ;-) )

BUT He sure is sweet and loved!

Crazy Andrew

Andrew's new favorite place to sleep. In Ben's room on the rug.

Mr. Independent helping himself to playdough. Apparently, I wasn't quick enough.

See? Playdough is fun! I just wanted to have fun!

"Fixing" Ben's swing... sawing it...

Chasing Baxter with his lawn mower while we mow. The chasing is a daily activity.

This is what happens when you are a scab picker!

Sawing the balloons. He is OBSESSED with cutting things.

Helping Daddy

Wow! Mesmerizing!

So fun to watch Daddy clean the couches!

And of course watching didn't last long. Andrew went and got his own vacuum.

Can I remind him of his love for cleaning when he gets old enough to actually help? ;-)
